The launch of Death-Cast is a nationwide event, with all of the people who sign up “guaranteed” that they will be notified on the day of their deaths. For Valentino, signing up last minute was something of a joke, but when he is the first one to be alerted of his coming death, gunshots echo through Times Square. He meets Orion, and, touched by his unexpected kindness to a random stranger, the two form a close bond. But one of them has to die at the end…
A touching, surprisingly tender prequel to They Both Die at the End, Adam Silvera takes readers along a journey of friendship, family, and love. A suspense-filled, action-packed book that will have you hanging on the edge of your seat, I would recommend this book to mature readers who can deal with intense and gruesome scenes. While this book may be scary for younger readers, I think that most people would enjoy this book.
I rate it 4.5 out of 5!
